Our mission is simple: we mobilize architects passionate about their craft to communities where predominantly Black families live, learn, and play to engage students in a creative and inspirational way. We share our journeys to becoming architects to encourage students to consider architecture as a career in the future.
The Black Architects in the Making program opens the doors to Black and minority students with the intent to recruit their participation in the profession. BAM does this by informing, educating, and mentoring students who may be interested in pursuing a career in architecture.
